  • Tammy Zywicki
    Aug 28 2025
In August 1992, 21-year-old Tammy Zywicki set out on a routine drive back to college after dropping off her younger brother at Northwestern University. Somewhere along Interstate 80 in Illinois, her car broke down. Witnesses saw Tammy waiting on the shoulder and speaking with the driver of a semi-truck. By the next day, both she and her car were gone. A week later, Tammy’s body was found nearly 500 miles away in Missouri. She had been stabbed multiple times and wrapped in a blanket that didn’t belong to her. Despite eyewitness accounts, physical evidence, and decades of investigation, her killer has never been identified. In this episode of Find My Killer, we explore the haunting case of Tammy Zywicki—her life, the final hours on the highway, the suspects, and why this case remains unsolved more than thirty years later. • Zebb Quinn
    Aug 21 2025
In January 2000, 18-year-old Zebb Quinn clocked out of his Walmart shift in Asheville, North Carolina, and vanished. Two weeks later, his car was found abandoned in a restaurant parking lot—with the headlights still on, a puppy trapped inside, and a strange lipstick drawing scrawled across the rear window. For years, suspicion swirled around the last person to see him alive, his coworker Robert Jason Owens. But it wasn’t until 2017—after Owens was convicted in another shocking case—that he was finally indicted for Zebb’s murder. Then, in 2022, a plea deal revealed a chilling new account: Owens claimed his own uncle, now dead, was the real killer. This episode unravels the bizarre twists, alleged cover-ups, and lingering questions in a case that remains unsolved more than two decades later. Who killed Zebb Quinn—and why? • Thomas Wales
    Aug 14 2025
In October 2001, federal prosecutor Thomas Crane Wales was working late in the basement office of his Seattle home when a gunman crept into his backyard, raised a pistol to the window, and opened fire. The shooter vanished into the night — leaving behind the only unsolved assassination of a sitting federal prosecutor in U.S. history. Wales wasn’t just a respected Assistant U.S. Attorney. He was also a passionate gun control advocate and a man unafraid to take on powerful enemies. Over the years, investigators have chased leads from a disgruntled pilot to a bizarre handwritten confession from someone calling themselves “Gidget,” and even a tip from a future serial killer working as an FBI informant. In 2018, the FBI made a bold announcement: they believe Thomas Wales was the victim of a professional hit. But who ordered it? And why has this high-profile murder — with all the resources of federal law enforcement — never been solved? Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
