MSG, aka Mono sodium glutamate, is an ingredient found in Chinese food and other savory dishes that many people associate as a benign additive.
MSG is found naturally in some foods and The FDA says it is safe to eat.
Even acclaimed researchers from Harvard and the Mayo clinic state there is no evidence showing these additives are harmful.

Her research has focused primarily on protein chemistry in the development of cancer pharmaceuticals and diagnostics.
Today Katie works closely with the public, some through physicians to devise food solutions for people suffering from a wide variety of chronic inflammatory conditions.
Working in collaboration with the medical, education, farming, and various communities, she creates data-driven food solutions through the design and development of diagnostic tests and interpretation of laboratory results.
