Rebecca and Jay Madden are South Carolina natives where they met and married. At a pivotal point in mid-life, Jay felt a clear call from God, stepping away from the business world to pursue full-time ministry. With over twenty-five years of ministry experience, their journey has taken them from local churches in South Carolina to vibrant ministry roles in Chicago and now Atlanta, Georgia. Today, they serve together on staff at Peachtree Church—one of the largest Presbyterian churches in the U.S.—where Jay is the Executive Pastor and Rebecca leads as the Women’s Ministry Director. Their passion for guiding others in their faith began in the pages of their personal journals, capturing the beauty of God’s presence in both extraordinary and everyday moments. Through their book, Breathless Haste: Finding God in Ordinary Life, they hope to inspire and empower others to awaken their hearts, minds, and souls to encounter an extraordinary God in the midst of ordinary life.
