In dieser Folge geht es um die EUDR, die Europäische Entwaldungsrichtlinie.
Die EU hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, die internationale Entwaldung zu stoppen. Das Problem: Die Richtlinie ist viel zu bürokratisch. Deshalb wird sie nicht wie angekündigt 2025, sondern erst 2026 in Kraft treten.
Das ist die Chance, die Richtlinie zu entbürokratisieren – dafür habe ich mich im Europäischen Parlament eingesetzt. Welche Reaktionen es auf mein Vorgehen gab und was jetzt folgt, darüber berichte ich in dieser Folge.
