About this listen

Wisdom is an attribute of God. Because we want to cultivate wisdom in our homes, the Word of God must be central there. We strive to keep wisdom before our own eyes - but what about our children? Has the iPad or a kiddie show played babysitter in your home?

The world works hard to make wisdom vanish from our sight and that of our children, replacing it with cheap entertainment. How do we teach, guide, and model for our children, that the true treasure we should be seeking, far outshines the little dopamine hits they get from screen time?

When this is the day you long to model well, how to use technologies in a righteous manner, and you think the only possible solution is to throw away your phone and TV, video games, and ipad, don’t worry! You can keep them! It doesn’t have to be that extreme! The real solution still isn’t found there. It’s in exchanging the thrills we get from screen time, with thrills from the Lord.
