About this listen

Today’s episode is about body image and eating disorders. We will be breaking up this topic/episode into two parts. In today’s episode we will go over the diagnostic criteria of some of the eating disorders in the DSM, highlighting the stigma or misconceptions about body image and eating disorders, and exploring ways of how we can navigate these mentalities. Knowing this episode will be heavier in nature, I want to give a trigger warning regarding topics involving eating disorders, disordered eating, body image, sexual, verbal, emotional, or physical abuse, and body dysmorphia. Feel free to skip this episode if this content is uncomfortable to listen to.
