Capt. Jaron Thomas is a USCG-licensed fishing guide and the owner of Fishing in LA with Capt. Jaron Thomas, a premier charter service based in southeast Louisiana. After jumping straight into the fishing industry out of high school, Jaron worked his way up from deckhand to captain, turning a love for the outdoors into a full-time business. Jaron joins Ethan and Kaden Lemieux to talk about what it really takes to build a life on the water—from learning the waters of Louisiana to coastal conservation and running a charter business. Isaac Hobbs is a Journeyman Lineman working for West Florida Electric Cooperative. After graduating high school in 2020, Isaac spent over two years as a contractor before joining WFEC, where he now installs, upgrades, and repairs power systems for new and existing members.

Isaac joins Ethan and Kaden Lemieux to share his journey into the world of line work, what it takes to become a lineman, and the differences between working for a contractor versus a cooperative. We also talk about the essential safety gear that protects linemen on the job, the challenges of working in tough weather and traffic conditions, and why linemen are the often forgotten first responders in our communities.
