About this listen

In the late 19th century, the quiet swamplands near Wylonemby, just fourteen miles from Euroa, Victoria, gave birth to a strange and terrifying mystery. Described as a 30-foot amphibious creature with a bulldog-like head, dark brown back, and yellowish underbelly, the beast was said to lurk in thick reeds and deep waters, snorting and splashing as it moved.

Reports of vanishing dogs, panicked livestock, and massive tracks led to a full-scale expedition in 1890, with armed locals and zoologists attempting to capture the creature. Although no conclusive evidence was ever found, the creature endures as one of Australia’s most intriguing and elusive cryptids.

So join Gary and GoldieAnn as they trudge Within the Mist of Australia’s swamps to tell of the Eurora Beast.
