About this listen

In this episode, we pause for a midyear spiritual check-in with the Lord, using the Israelites’ journey through the desert as our guide. Just as God led His people step by step toward the Promised Land, He invites us to reflect on where we’ve been, where He’s leading, and how we can walk forward in faith. Questions Asked for Follow Along: 1. Is there anything you are still in bondage too? An Egypt in your life? Look over the past six years and ask Holy Spirit to reveal any chains that might still be present. 2. Take a moment and thank God for fighting for you. Then sit in His presence and the stillness with Him. 3. What are the obstacles you have faced over the past six months? Take a moment and thank of God for His presence in the midst of the obstacles. Or maybe you didn't see Him and you need to ask Him where He was in the midst of it. 4. Look back and ask yourself, are there any disappointments in the past six months you need to give to God? 5. What "onions" do you have in your life? What area's of comfort are in your life that you need to let go of? 6. What needs, big and small, do you have? Tell God these needs? 7. Focus on the present. Is there anything the Lord has asked of you that you haven't been obedient to? Take a moment and repent. And make a plan after this on how you can be obedient. 8. Now, lets look forward. What are the thoughts and feelings as you look to the future? Talk to the Lord about that feeling. 9. Lets look together to the Lord. Commit to trusting God in the next half of the year. Is there anything you want us to know or do, in light of the future?
