About this listen
In this episode are super excited to welcome our first guest onto the podcast! Non other than the winner of the 2025 Montane Spine race, the vicar at our wedding...... the incredible Lucy Gossage!
Within our catching up we speak through
- The various reasons why she decided to return to the spine
- The strategy and value of being able to build on the knowledge from the previous year
- What she ate, when she slept
- Camaraderie within the women's field
- Making friends within the race...... most notably Tim!
After finishing our chat we decided that it would be rude not to get Tim on to share his version of events. After attempting the spine twice previously and failing each time, it was a case of 3rd time lucky for Tim. We discuss with him
- Learning from previous failings
- How he prepared for this years race
- What he ate
- And most critically...... how be coped with the Duracell bunny herself, Goss!
We hope you enjoy!
