About this listen
Ken is a life long resident of Bonners Ferry with deep roots in the community.
From Eagle Scout, car body repair, fire fighter, EMT, hazmat tech, to fire chief, Ken has moved up the ladder and has lots of experience.
He realizes he often meets people on their worst day so he feels guided by /God to be the light that shines for them at their critical moment of need.
Ken also wants to show people that humanity is here to step forward and take care of neighbors.
It has been almost a year since he became fire chief and his department fights fires, responds to medical emergencies, helps with car accidents, and rescues cats from trees.
He is also in charge of training his volunteers, maintaining the equipment, and balancing a tight budget.
It is Ken's goal to have his department ready to respond to whatever emergency presents itself for the people of North Idaho.
