Amongst the HBO Harry Potter Series filming, the Harry Potter Universe seems to have snuck one on us! They are in the process of making a dramatized version of the Harry Potter audiobooks. This will include a full cast of 200 voices! That's one for every character in the Harry Potter series. Olivier-nominated actor Cush Jumbo willwill be the narrator.


Some of the cast includes: Hugh Laurie as Albus Dumbledore, Matthew Macfadyen as Lord Voldemort, Riz Ahmed as Professor Snape, Michelle Gomez as Professor McGonagall. In the first three audiobooks, the young versions of Harry, Ron and Hermione will be voiced by Frankie Treadaway, Max Lester and Arabella Stanton who is the actor for Hermione Granger in the series reboot. The 3 will be in books 1-4. The trio will later be playe in books 4-7 by Jaxon Knopf, Rhys Mulligan and Nina Barker-Francis.


Release date have already been made public!

Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s/Sorcerer’s Stone releases 4th November; Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets releases 16th December, 2025; Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban releases 13th January, 2026; Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire releases 10th February, 2026; Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix releases 10th March, 2026; Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince releases 14th April, 2026; concluding with the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows on 12th May, 2026.
