About this listen
Description:
If you’re feeling tired from trying to hold everything together perfectly — you’re not alone. In today’s episode, we’re having a real, honest conversation about what it looks like to choose progress over perfection. We’ll be looking at it through three lenses: first, how perfectionism shows up for just about everyone when we tie our worth to our performance; second, how it runs even deeper for trauma survivors, where perfection sometimes became a way to stay safe or avoid harm; and third, how even in our Christian walk, perfectionism can quietly slip in and make us feel like we have to earn God’s love — when the truth is, His love has never depended on our performance. Each of these journeys is different, but if you see yourself in any of them, know this: you are already loved, already enough, and you are not alone in this fight. Today, we’re giving ourselves permission to grow at our own pace, trust God's grace, and celebrate every small, brave step we take.
