About this listen
There was no doubt that I would become a professional speaker after serving 22 years in the United States Air Force. Over the years leading up to retiring I attended quite a few conventions, and I listened to some of the best of the best speakers such as Zig Ziglar, Jeanne Robertson, and Les Brown.
I knew inside that I had a passion for speaking and while I was attending my transition workshop, the host ask me what I was going to do after retiring and it was an easy response, I am going to become a motivational speaker.
Not only did I become a professional speaker, I understood I am an entrepreneur first, then a speaker. This episode provides a framework for how I went from being a member of Toastmasters to become a professional speaker and member of the National Speakers Association.
Enjoy this episode and recommend your family, friends, and colleagues tune in to listen to my journey and story of going from service in the military to become a speaker.
