(18:07) AMADEUS, Peter Shaffer’s masterwork, runs March 7-16 at The Majestic Theatre in downtown Corvallis. Director Riley Lucas and the two lead actors from the show talk about the clash of envy versus genius between court composer Antonio Salieri and a talented young musical genius named Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Riley shares their unique concept and vision for AMADEUS, from casting and staging to costumes and music.

(37:10) Matthieu Voisine talks about the Center Stage Theatrics summer theatre camp, now in its fourth year, and a special Red Carpet Gala fundraiser on March 14 at Salem’s Historic Grand Theater. The gala features food, entertainment and a silent auction to help fund scholarships and operations costs for the growing week-long overnight summer camp on the shoulder of Mt. Hood.

(51:33) Wrap-up.

KMUZ Theatre Talk airs at 9 a.m. the first and third Fridays of the month at KMUZ 100.7 and 88.5 FM in the mid-Willamette Valley and on the KMUZ app for Apple and Android.
