Welcome to another Shark Week here at SlashU. Every year we pick a couple of cheesy, campy shark movies to cover, deviating from our usual slasher movie format. This week's movie is one of the "best" we've ever covered here for a shark week. During the Cold War era, Russian scientists created human-shark hybrids capable of living in extremely harsh conditions, and then shot them all to the far side of the moon. Now, in present day, a group of American astronauts en route to the moon for their own environmental and green energy experiments, find themselves way off course and running for their lives against the shark threat.
