Welcome back, everyone! Thank you for your patience.
It is now the new year, and a time for new beginnings. What is on your boards for this upcoming year, or season? We are starting new projects and upgrading others.
In this new season, we are talking about equipping and training ourselves to be better for us and for each other. In marriage, we get to carry a weapon and a tool with us at all times. That way, we are ready to fight off attacks when they come, and build each other up at every opportunity.
Just like the story of Nehemiah, while they were rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem.
Nehemiah 4: 16-18 "From that day on, half of my men did the work, while the other half were equipped with spears, shields, bows and armor. The officers posted themselves behind all the people of Judah who were building the wall. Those who carried materials did their work with one hand and held a weapon in the other, and each of the builders wore his sword at his side as he worked. But the man who sounded the trumpet stayed with me." (NIV)
