About this listen

Join K Dot and ScHoolboy Q (aka Cody and Dan) as they go #beyondFLG with cross-functional, impact driven Eva Putzova. Eva Putzova, an accidental American born and raised in Slovakia, served on the Flagstaff City Council and ran for Congress in 2020. She co-founded Catch Fire Movement, an organization dedicated to building progressive leadership and democracy from the bottom up.

Locally, she is known as the architect of the Flagstaff Minimum Wage Citizen Initiative, which voters successfully passed in 2016. She also authored the Restaurant Workers Bill of Rights, first introduced as a resolution in the U.S. House of Representatives in 2022 by Representatives Rashida Tlaib, Jesús "Chuy" Garcia, and Marie Newman.

Eva continues to “meddle” in politics because she believes we need more serious people with political courage who are unbossed and unbought to stand up for working-class folks and human rights.
