Alan Scherer is a photographer, was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder in 2001. In 2010 he decided to change his life and make healthier decisions and hold himself accountable. He got a gym membership and began to exercise and took up photography. "I began moving physically, and creatively for my mental health" he says and states that photography literally saved my life.
