Ep4 S1- Lexi Sekuless - Lakespeare and the future of theatre

  • Summary

  • I am back after a much needed break and starting the year strong with my first guest of 2021, Lexi Sekuless. In this fantastically powerful and engaging episode I interviewed Lexi Sekuless. Lexi is an actor, director and producer. Lexi is Co-Producer and Co-Artistic Director of Lakespeare, the free Shakespeare season which plays in Canberra each summer. She is also a keen advocate and lobbyist for a National Theatre of Australia and we discussed how the Government can support the arts industry more in a Covid-19 environment. There is almost nothing Lexi has not accomplished since graduating from London's Royal Central School of Speech and Drama with a Bachelor of Acting, with first class honours. One of many career highlights was performing at the Globe as Lady Anne in Richard III for the 2013 Wanamaker Festival. Lexi has performed in numerous roles on stage and on screen. You can read all about her here: http://www.sportforjove.com.au/cast-crew/lexi-sekuless As always, music by the talented Jay Cameron. Support this podcast
