Leandro Gaitán es doctor en Filosofía por la Universidad de Navarra y lleva años estudiando los fundamentos del posthumanismo y el transhumanismo, dos corrientes de pensamiento que niegan la naturaleza humana, se vacía el cuerpo humano de su sentido y se exalta la libertad, a través de la cual la persona pueda ser todo aquello que quiera ser.
En el fondo, ambas propuestas defienden que el hombre puede superarse a través de la ciencia. Que podrá, incluso, superar la muerte encapsulando su conciencia en un chip y transfieriéndola a otro cuerpo. ¿Es esto realmente posible? ¿Qué tiene que ver esto con la creencia de la religión cristiana de la resurrección de los cuerpos?
