About this listen

While attending NFIB’s Small Business Deduction Summit, small business owners Tim Boeve, Derrick Roberts, James Tyson, and Angela Zuba discuss what the 20% Small Business Tax Deduction has enabled their businesses to do, and what would happen if Congress allows it to expire this year causing a massive tax hike. During the Summit, attendees met with members of Congress, shared how they use the deduction, and discussed the urgency to make it permanent. NFIB Vice President of Federal Government Relations Jeff Brabant explained the impact of small business owners sharing their stories directly with their elected officials and discussed updates on legislation that would stop the massive tax hike, known as the Main Street Tax Certainty Act.

You can help amplify and reinforce their message with lawmakers by sending your own personalized story on issues that affect your small business. To learn more, go to SmallBusinessDeduction.com.
