About this listen

Everybody is a little nerdy about something and for us here at National Voter Registration Day our thing is and always will be (of course) voting!

Being democracy nerds, we naturally gravitate to other nerds of every stripe, including our longtime premier partners at Nerds Vote, a California-based nonprofit organization helmed by some very nerdy voice and screen actors who want to bring the good news of voter registration to comic cons and nerdoms across the country. This month, we sit down with Nerds Vote co-founders JP Karliak and Courtenay Taylor about how they're celebrating democracy in truly nerdy fashion.

PLUS: Is Nicholas Cage related to one of our hosts? Is x-ray vision an inherently skeevy superpower? And how YOU can join the 2022 National Voter Registration Day team!
