 «Ogni pennellata di Cézanne è un capolavoro», diceva con ammirazione l’amico e collega Renoir, al quale Paul Cézanne “invidiava” invece la serenità e mitezza d’animo. Due stili molto diversi tra loro: uno geometrico e lineare, l’altro delicato e leggero. Entrambi, nella loro unicità, modelli per le generazioni successive. Tra tutti Picasso, maestro cubista, che renderà omaggio ai due pittori francesi realizzando una natura morta e un grande nudo femminile, esposti a Palazzo Reale, Milano fino al 30 giugno. La mostra è co-curata da Stefano Zuffi, che ci ha accompagnato in questo viaggio alla scoperta dei due maestri dell’impressionismo: Paul Cézanne e Pierre-Auguste Renoir.
