 SHOW NOTES In Podcast Episode 331, “Which Child Will You Protect?” Kim discusses the responsibility we have to be protectors of the next generation. In today’s story, we see at least three people who were in on a dangerous child protection project. Each of them risked their life to hide a baby boy from his out-of-control, power-hungry grandmother, Athaliah. Our focal passage for this episode is 2 Kings 11:1-16, with 2-3 as the focal verse: 2 But Ahaziah’s sister Jehosheba, the daughter of King Jehoram, took Ahaziah’s infant son, Joash, and stole him away from among the rest of the king’s children, who were about to be killed. She put Joash and his nurse in a bedroom, and they hid him from Athaliah, so the child was not murdered. 3 Joash remained hidden in the Temple of the Lord for six years while Athaliah ruled over the land.
