He makes fiercely independent, individualized rock music that blends organic, electronic, and experimental sounds into something entirely new and unique. Mike writes, records, and produces all of his tracks on his own in his personal studio, The Fortress of Solitude. Fully accepting his roles as an outsider artist and forward thinker, O’Cull demolishes traditional song structures and ideas. His short-form, non-repetitive rock instrumentals conform to no one and drip with vision and faith. He plays only as many notes as absolutely necessary, embraces dissonance, and aims to touch the hearts of all who get within earshot.
