About this listen

Today’s coaching client is Randye, a pet business owner in Pennsylvania who is pivoting her business to create a totally different type of service: she wants to create a mobile cat nail trimming business. The good news: she has no competitors in her area and in the past she created a successful service-based pet business. The challenge: This is a brand-new service in her area cat owners are not even aware of exists. Many of the cat owners she may be trying to reach are likely having their cat’s nails cut by a groomer or vet – or they are doing it themselves. It’s also a very different type of service than her prior business, so that requires a different start up strategy. But, more good news: Randye is motivated, passionate and ready to do the work to start and grow her new business! If you’d like to add a new service to your current business, or you’re thinking about starting a brand-new pet business, this episode will help you.
