Ballistic Protection

Dealing with the Flaming Darts

Text: Ephesians 6:10-20

Main Idea: Dealing with the Flaming Darts

We all deal with threats both external and internal. The Internal threats are those of doubt, anxiety, depression and all of the emotions that we contend with daily. These are hard enough for us to deal with on their own but we are not only dealing with these threats. We are also dealing with external threats that target our weaknesses. Our enemy the devil strives to hit us where it hurts. Those soft spots that when hit can cause a mortal wound. A wound in our vital organs that will lead to death or an infection that will be severely debilitating.

Today, I want to look at the word of God and what the Apostle Paul tells us on how to be prepared for our daily, and weekly skirmishes and the battle we call life. Even more than that, I want to focus on how we can be victorious in this battle because of the greatness of our Father in Heaven and our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
