Emotional Quotient (EQ) is the measure of emotional intelligence and this is very different from IQ. While IQ helps the individual accomplish results on their own, EQ helps the individual accomplish results through others. Therefore, EQ becomes vital for leadership development. An authentic leader knows how to manage themselves and serve others to emerge as a servant leader.
