 Nuevos y refrescantes hallazgos en los años 20: Cardinals, Good Neighbours, Oversize, Sawyer Hill, Peach Tree Rascals, Sophisticated Dingo,... Andy Bell continúa con sus experimentos neo-psicodélicos en "Pinball Wanderer", y los australianos Heavy Moss crean sugerentes ambientes oníricos en su álbum de debut "Dead Slow". Y qué clase la de los americanos Darkside, con sus suites espaciales a lo Bowie. En la segunda mitad de los 80s tuvo sentido la etiqueta indie-pop, con maravillosas bandas hoy recogidas en "Sensitive (An Indie Pop Anthology)", como The Railway Children, Razorcuts, o los Chills del gran Martin Phillips, que grabó un emotivo disco de despedida poco antes de partir hacia el más allá. I don´t want to live forever, and I´m going to die alive. Eterno!
