In 1 Corinthians 2:1–5, Paul intentionally rejects eloquence and human wisdom to preach "Jesus Christ and him crucified." We explore what he meant by his "fear and weakness" when he evangelized Corinth, emphasising his reliance on the Holy Spirit's work and power in creating genuine faith.
