明治七年、1874年に新橋ー横浜間に日本で一番最初の鉄道が敷かれました。当時の蒸気機関車はイギリス製、シャープ・スチュアートという会社のものでした。この汽車はその後、名古屋鉄道に売られ、そして現在は明治村で走っているのです。この汽車に乗った際、蒸気機関や汽笛の音も録音してきましたので、その臨場感溢れるサウンドと共にお楽しみ下さい！
