In episode zero, hosts Mercedes and Fe introduce Your Daughter's Diary Podcast and invite you to tune in every month for a new story. Today we're sharing a story from co-host, Mercedes Melendez. She was in fourth grade when she arrived home from a typical day of school only to find it completely engulfed in flames. As a little girl, it left her with countless questions and very few opportunities to talk about a day that would change her life forever in many facets.
