Today we look at domestic abuse and violence. These are difficult discussions, so be advised if you have younger children listening nearby. This is not an in-depth look, but rather an introductory conversation to know some warning signs and some resources to connect to.
If or someone you know is experiencing some form abuse, there are resources available to help. One such resource is the option to text the word “BEGIN” to 88788 to initiate a text conversation. There is also a domestic abuse hotline you can call if you or someone you know is experiencing abuse. The number is 1-800-799-7233. You are also welcome to reach out to one of us at Faith Covenant Church.
