Dirigent a klavirista Martin Majkút pôsobí už bezmála dvadsať rokov v Amerike. Po štúdiu na University of Arizona sa presadil ako hlavný dirigent orchestrov v Oregone a následne aj jedného v New Yorku. S hudbou sa však spájajú aj jeho návraty na Slovensko. Počas jedného z nich navštívil aj reláciu Ide o nás, kde sme hovorili o hudbe a profesii, ktorá je pre mnohých opradená tajomstvom, ale aj spojená s množstvom utkvelých predstáv a predsudkov.
