**All our episodes may contain SPOILERS for all three Maasverse series so please only listen if you've read ALL the books!**

This week's ep is a bit longer than usual but we had lots of fascinating discussion about these early moments of Tamlin and Feyre's relationship! We start off by talking about Tamlin needing to clean up the gallery (did he rage-mode trash it??) and then discuss the paintings and Feyre maybe seeing more in them than she should? A bit later we get into a longer discussion of this really interesting part of the chapter where she'd been talking about the abundant magic of the Spring Court as "the lulling of magic that clouded my thoughts, and I didn't think of my family until I passed the outer hedge wall one morning..."A breeze from the south ruffled my hair (p170) Almost sounds like she went just outside the bounds of a spell maybe? Suddenly her head cleared and she remembered her family? It could justbe a moment where she was reminded of them and felt suddenly guilty but we we fascinated. That discussion begins at 28:10!

The rest of the ep goes into the interactions with Tamlin and Feyre and their conversation and beginnings of intimacy as well as some of Tamlin's backstory and his "treat yourself" life mantra lol. The chapter ends with the Attor moment and we went off the deep end there because what if the Attor had said something about the terms of the curse directly? Would he then have been prevented from doing so by the curse and through that be tipped off about Feyre being there? Maybe things were much more precarious than we thought! Second of all, we went nuts because Feyre describes the attor's voice like as: "the screaming of human victims, the pleading of young maidens whose chests had been split open on sacrificial altars" (p181) Okay maybe it's just to be scary and set the tone/stakes of what's happening but also THAT'S WIERDLY SPECIFIC?? We had fun with it. That starts at 1:39:05!
