L'entrée au secondaire est une étape compliquée dans la vie d'un adolescent. Personnellement, j'ai eu la chance d'avoir le complexe Branchaud-Brière pour m'aider. Je me suis vu grandir en tant qu'être humain, dans ce lieu où j’ai vécu mes grands moments de joie, mes déceptions, mes regrets, créé et perdu des amitiés. Tant d’expériences dans ce lieu, presque tous mes souvenirs y sont rattachés. Dans cette fiction je raconte comment, personnellement, j'aurais dû finir ma carrière de hockeyeur s'il n'y avait pas eu la pandémie.
