Detective Sarah Pearson arrived at the sprawling mansion, her heart racing. Inside, the body of wealthy businessman, Robert Vanderbilt, lay lifeless in his study. The door was locked from the inside, and the windows were securely fastened. No one could have entered or escaped.
Sarah examined the scene, her keen eyes taking in every detail. Robert had been stabbed multiple times, the weapon nowhere to be found. The only other person in the house was his wife, Olivia, who had called the police in hysterics.

Confronted with the evidence, Olivia confessed. She had discovered Robert's affair and, in a fit of rage, stabbed him. She then planted the dagger in the library and locked the study door from the inside using the secret passage.
