Las voces de los hombres se escuchan mucho. No vivimos en un mundo donde los hombres sean silenciados. Y, sin embargo, a la hora de hablar de cáncer, es más fácil hacerlo con mujeres y escuchar a mujeres hablar de ello. El dato es claro: 3 de cada 4 personas que piden ayuda psicológica a la Asociación Española contra el Cáncer son mujeres. ¿Dónde están los hombres? ¿Por qué siguen sin acudir a estos recursos con la misma frecuencia? ¿Es que no lo necesitan? ¿O es que, tal vez, no se sienten con el permiso de pedir ayuda?
Hoy nos acompaña Miguel Trujillo, psicólogo de la Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer, para reflexionar sobre esto y contarnos cómo están trabajando desde la Asociación para romper estos silencios.
