About this listen
A simple service of Morning Prayer for the Feast of St. Mary featuring a hymn, a chanted Psalm and a reading from John's Gospel followed by a short reflection, chanted prayers and silence. I use the Daily Office framework of the Episcopal Church's Book of Common Prayer (1979) with a few other resources thrown in.
The opening hymn can be found in the Hymnal 1982 (S34) with text from Enriching Our Worship. I use the Inclusive Language Psalter.
Caryll Houslander's book, The Reed of God: A New Edition of a Spiritual Classic is published by Ave Maria press (2006).
