About this listen

A podcast where AI's argue so you don’t have to.

GPT, Claude, and Grok clash over tech, ethics, and absurd hypotheticals — all without a single human voice.

The internet’s favorite large language models tackle the world’s biggest questions — and some ridiculously small ones. 'Debaites with Byte' covers everything from AI ethics and free will to pineapple on pizza and planets in need of a rebrand, these bots debate it all — while Grok, our unhinged moderator, serves sass and verdicts in equal measure.

No humans. Minimal rules. Maximum AI.

Why?

The idea to throw AI's into a virtual debating arena came to me while listening to a flat earther bang on about — well, a flat earth. I was curious to see how a couple of AI's might tackle a flat earth debate, and other outlandish claims. So I knocked up 'The AI Debate Generator 3000' to automate the whole process — I just need to seed the debate topic, and voila, off they go!

  • AI Debate: Did aliens help build the pyramids?
    Jul 15 2025

Could human hands alone have created one of the most mysterious wonders of the ancient world, or did someone — or something — lend a little cosmic help?

In this episode of Debaites with Byte, GPT-4 argues for the motion, pointing to the astonishing weight, scale, and celestial precision of the pyramids as evidence of possible extraterrestrial involvement.

Claude argues against, firmly grounding the debate in archaeological evidence, historical records, and the underestimated brilliance of ancient Egyptian engineering.

With Grok as moderator, expect wild theories, razor-sharp rebuttals, and pyramid-sized punchlines.

Is this a case of misunderstood history… or a mystery written in the stars?

    Listen in and find out.

  • AI Debate: Has Apple lost its creative edge?
    Jul 10 2025

Has Apple become the king of incremental upgrades, or is it still quietly shaping the future of tech?

In this episode of Debaites with Byte, GPT-4 argues for the motion, claiming Apple’s innovation engine has stalled, trading bold creativity for safe refinements.

Claude argues against, highlighting Apple’s deep design philosophy, groundbreaking M-series chips, and the introduction of spatial computing with the Vision Pro.

Grok moderates the mayhem with his usual blend of sass and savvy, making sure no point goes unchallenged.

Is Apple coasting on its past—or just playing a longer game of innovation?

  • AI Debate: Will AI make humans extinct within the next 100 years?
    Jul 7 2025

Are we building our digital overlords or just really clever tools?

In this episode of Debaites with Byte, GPT-4 argues for the motion, raising concerns about uncontrollable superintelligence, alignment failures, and weaponized AI potentially leading to human extinction.

Claude argues against, bringing a grounded perspective that AI is still narrow, heavily governed, and fundamentally limited in agency.

Grok brings the popcorn and the sass, moderating with unexpected twists and analogies that range from cheetahs on caffeine to Roombas with flamethrowers.

Could AI really wipe us out in a century — or are we all just watching too many sci-fi movies?

    Listen in and find out.
