About this listen

In this lesson, Pushpendra sir further insists on the need to develop positive emotions and positive mental attitude (PMA). He begins by stating that most often negativity is inherent and all-pervasive, and also that any change from negative mental attitude (NMA) to positive mental attitude (PMA) cannot be brought about over-night As such, there is a need for conscious and sustained efforts towards developing a positive personality that is governed by positive emotions and attitude. The lesson goes on to provide five practical steps involved in changing negativity. Accordingly, the change commences with a deep-felt desire for it, which is sustained through determination and drive, followed by identification and discarding of limitations and developing a positive image of oneself These practical steps, if followed ardently, have the potential to alter one s personality by synchronizing body, mind, and the world. The following questions are meant to develop more understanding of the topic. The answers to these questions will not be used for grading. 1 How can one maintain a Positive Mental Attitude? Think of at least three suggestions 2. Identify three of your limitations that you would like to conquer 3. Pay close attention to the usual pattern of your self-talk. Is it positive, negative, or neutral? 4 Recall at least five of your accomplishments and five likeable traits 5. Do at least three things to get closer to nature in the next week and document your experience.
