About this listen

Join Justin and Harley (former co-hosts of The Horrorfied Podcast and lifelong friends) as they return to the airwaves every other week to investigate a different cryptid, urban legend, ghost, or ghoul and trek their way across the world (metaphorically) hoping to sink their teeth into the hidden beasties that go bump in the night and the pop cultural sensation that is the field of Cryptozoology and Paranormal Investigation. With the help of the occasional special guest, first hand encounters, and oodles of research they hope to figure out if the truth is *really* out there or if it's all just a weather balloon. • The Red Ghost AKA You Can Lead a Camel to Water but You Can't Make It a Cryptid
    Oct 31 2022

Welcome back to Cryptified! The bi-weekly podcast where lifelong friends Justin and Harley get together to discuss the weird and wonderful world of Cryptozoology.

For the second installment, join our hosts as they take you to the blood-soaked era of the American Civil War.

This period is widely recognized as one of the most violent and egregiously vile periods of American History. From the Civil War itself, to the atrocities of the American slave trade, to the continued violent colonization of Indigenous lands it was a horribly disgusting period for the United States and demonstrated just how cruel human beings can be to one another and how far one would go to satiate their own greed.

The Red Ghost of Arizona, though no doubt terrifying to those that first bore witness to it, was one of many by products of the environment in which it was created. A demonic camel with a corpse for a rider, stampeding its' way across the desert, trampling any and all who dared get in its way.

The facts are far more strange than the fiction on this exciting episode of Cryptified.
