About Dr. Gibson:

Dr. Shmeka Gibson is an author, international speaker, business owner, and college professor. She has over 20 years of experience in nonprofit management and leadership. Dr. Gibson is a native Memphian and a mother of 2 daughters. Dr. Gibson resides in Austin, TX, where she serves as the Executive Director of Changing the Mindset. CTMS offers workshops, coaching, and therapy to youth and working professionals who need support in addressing mental health, personal and workplace bullying, and leadership development. Dr. Gibson is also known for her work with Dress for Success Memphis, assisting over 65 businesses with organizational infrastructure development, programming, and scaling their business. Dr. Gibson’s philanthropic work (serving as a board member and volunteer for many US and international organizations) and grant writing skills have allowed her to assist more than 25 organizations in securing over $ 84 million in funding to sustain their organization.
