About this listen
Alexis has been diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome [EDS] and has had to fight for herself ever since. In this episode, Alexis shares the journey to her diagnosis and how she had to advocate for herself in many situations that she felt like there was a bias against her because of her diagnosis or medical history. Alexis, herself, is in school to become a doctor of physical therapy and also chats about how she hopes to create a better experience for others who might be going through something similar.
