About this listen
Coach Robin has been a GirlTrek Crew Leader since 2012. She also runs her own wellness business and holds certifications with both NOLS (National Outdoor Leadership Schools) and the Sierra Club. She's been a fitness enthusiast and professional in the wellness space since 1989. On today's episode, Robin talks to us about the many hats she wears, the importance of self-care, and what it has meant to her to be a leader within the GirlTrek movement. She tells us about her most memorable walk, a wilderness backpacking trip on which she was the only Black person, and why this walk led her to realize how strong she really was. And finally, she shares why it is so important that women show up for themselves — and for each other.
