 Denny Carleton has been a long lasting figure in the Cleveland music scene, having played with notable '60s bands such as The Choir and the Lost Souls and has continued on writing, performing and recording through all of his musical genres changes , including punk ,Gospel ,blues ,jazz folk ,experimental, Avant Garde , and theatrical pieces As a gifted guitarist, he is also a singer and prolific songwriter whose blend of original material utilizing Folk, Rock and Acoustic influences has been aired on 300 college and public radio stations in the U.S. and Canada. With his love for music and the music comunity , he organizes concerts with various performers under the title of Denny Carleton and Friends, He currently plays live as a singer songwriter and also as a church praise and worship leader. He has recorded 12 CDS, which are available on I tunes and Spotify. Denny is also a Cleveland Radio Veteran and in 2015 published his memoir Welcome To my World..Denny continues teaching guitar, bass, piano and songwriting, passing his gifts on to the next generation DENNY INTERVIEWS AL GlOBEKAR ABOUT HIS HISTORY IN CLEVELAND MUSIC AND ABOUT THEIR HISTORY TOGETHER AND ALSO ABOUT THEIR CURRENT CD AND DOWNLOAD RELEASE TROUBADOUR AND THE COWBOY.      In Northeastern Ohio the Cleveland ,Akron ,Kent Lake County Area has quite a history of rock n roll . Here is another chapter in that on going  story.

     

    The Window. which was previously named The  Surprize Band were from the general Cleveland area and suburbs and played locally from 1980 to 1989. The band Did  mostly 60’s, and a few 80’s .played about three times a week but recorded some original

     

    Most of the tunes have been released before but  having them in one download-album download paints more of a picture of the band and the recording studio Angel Recording, where most of the songs were recorded.  

     

    This download consist of 7 songs recorded in that time most with Power Pop feel. These have been all remastered by Mark Luthardt . Mark has done an excellent job managing to keep the original sound but enhance it by bringing out some sounds that had been buried . 

     

    This is an attempt to Fill in Blank of the bands part in the general music scene in the Cleveland music world in the mid 1980,s,
