 Nel secondo episodio parliamo del "Green Deal", il piano della Commissione europea lanciato nel 2019 con l'obiettivo di azzerare le emissioni nette di CO2 entro il 2050, a partire da un taglio del 55% entro il 2030. Con provvedimenti su automotive, edilizia, imballaggi, pesticidi, biodiversità, energie rinnovabili, il "Green Deal" è stato l'iniziativa-faro del primo mandato di Ursula von der Leyen alla presidenza della Commissione. Da qualche tempo, però, la sua stella sembra essersi offuscata, in particolare dopo l'affermazione delle forze di destra e centrodestra nelle urne delle europee del 2024.

A dialogare con il giornalista Gabriele Rosana sono la responsabile del programma Energia, clima e risorse dello IAI, Margherita Bianchi, e il ricercatore senior Pier Paolo Raimondi, per far luce sul posto delle politiche "green" in un ciclo politico-istituzionale che ha messo la competitività industriale al centro. E che, nei suoi primi 100 giorni, ha adottato un "Clean Industrial Deal".
