About this listen
Tell us what you think of this episode
In this episode we meet and talk to Mike Price, longstanding member of Cimla Cricket Club who has researched the club's history and published it in a small pamphlet.
Tom Roberts, scorer at the club from its inception in 1925, bequeathed a complete collection of scorebooks for the club to Mike who has taken an interest in the history of the club ever since.
He talks a little, first, about the village of Cimla before talking about the history of the club, starting in 1925.
Later in the episode we talk to Stuart and Steve Jones, father and son, who have both given many years service to Cimla.
