About this listen

Today, we are meeting Maya—a woman of diverse roots, with Sri Lankan and Czech heritage, raised in Geneva, Switzerland, before making her way to the United States at 18. Her outer beauty is matched only by the radiance of her inner light, as she lives with deep gratitude and dedicates herself to causes close to her heart, including supporting the homeless and raising awareness for butterfly disease.

Maya’s passion for helping others is also a tribute to her late father, with whom she shared a deep bond, especially through their love of golf. However, at a certain point, she chose to honor her own path and destiny, stepping away to follow her own dreams. While this journey may have been challenging for her father to accept, she navigated it with grace and love, ultimately finding peace and embracing her beautifully diverse, blended family.

An extraordinary life, and an even more extraordinary heart.
